Ask VanGo "The Art of Transportation" proudly present the Bus and Motorcoach Industry's most creative and inspired charter, tour and party bus rental transportation solutions for local and long distance shuttle, convention, tour, sightseeing, transfer, excursion, junket or airport and harbor ground transportation services.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We offer a quality services which is in demand by the masses. What better way to advertise this service then with a quality website full of useful information. We offer services all across North America which makes the internet an important marketing tool.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
AskVanGo.Com is my first website which was launched several years ago and Since then I have developed several more websites for other products/services.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We treat transportation like an art, which is why our saying is VanGo "The Art of Transportation". The name VanGo is a play on words based off of the artist Vincent van Gogh.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We are one of the top tour bus/charter bus companies available in North America. We make sure we stay ahead of safety regulations and offer only the most comfortable transportation possible, at a fair price I may add.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to continue to grow at the steady rate we have over been the last few years.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Its balances quite good. Yes it requires quite a bit of invested time and lots of money to invest but in the end tends to work out well.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We recently redesigned our website to offer a cleaner look and easier navigation to assist the clients in finding the information they are looking for.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. We are a quite well known company that expects to grow quite a bit in size. This has been though of and planned for in advance.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
A large part of running a tour bus and charter bus rental company is the expense of gasoline. Today's ever changing oil prices make unexpected costs almost a daily event.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search Engine Optimization has help promote our site to the masses by targeting popular keywords in such major search engines as Google, MSN and Yahoo.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Its a lot more work than originally anticipated, but the payoff makes it worth the work.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Our website has been up for several years so far and has grown in popularity by a large amount over those years. I am in this for the long run and cannot see myself removing the website.
