A visit to Hawaii is incomplete without seeing the magnificent surroundings that characterize the Big Island. Fiery volcanoes, trade winds, and wavy beaches are just some of the many features that you will see in this island's environment.
It is also famous for the hotels that line up Hawaii's shores. Two of them are the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Volcano House, which is featured here at LATimes.com
Hands down the best beach on the island of Hawaii, the Mauana Kea Beach Hotel is also one of the top of the island. After the extensive renovation following the damages after the earthquake in 2006, the hotel re-opened this year better than ever. The resort is the perfect place for couples and families. Highly recommended.
