It is a collection of my travel stories and photos.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Its a method of storing my memories about my travels. Its also a way to keep in touch with friends/family while I am overseas.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
I use wordpress... its easy, its free and it doesnt have any advertising sprawled over it. Its also very customisable - I can change the look of my blog so easily!!!
What do you blog the most about?
TRAVEL! I travelled around SE Asia with a friend (we shared the blogging), then I taught English in a rural village in Thailand for a while. Ive been in Thailnad for a while now, so there is lots of little stories about life in Thailand.
I hope to hit the road again soon... so it will see some more of the world soon!
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Negitive ones that spout rubbish to people (rubbish as in stuff that isnt true) or are hurtful to other people

1) Write from the heart, keep it honest 2) Keep the text to a minimum, screeds of text is hard to read 3) Put photos on it to make it more interesting for your readers 4) Compress your photos so they dont take AGES to load 5) Have fun! If you enjoy writing in your blog - your readers will enjoy reading it!!
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
I would never blog about anything I didnt want my mother, boss or future employer to read!!!
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
NO! I have never thought about making money out of my blog!

15-20 mins ever couple of days.

Nope.

Not sure what digg is, so I doubt I use it!

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Um, this is the first time Ive tried to promote my blog using another website/forum. Usually I promote it to friends/family but mentioning it all the time!!!

No idea. I dont read a lot of blogs... usually just the travel ones!
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Dont write too much text! It turns people away from your blog!!!
