What inspired you to launch your own website?

I saw a need to really showcase this wonderful city I call home.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Jeezzz, somewhere around 1998, it was a kind of personal blog before they got that name.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

City name and the country its in.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It looks a whole lot better.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Nah, just want to provide some sort of service to this city.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

What money and what success ?.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Hire a whole bunch of content writers and photographers.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Nope.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Finding the time to keep adding material.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Juggling this with a full time job.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

As it is a very new site I am waiting for the search engines to pick it up, already doing okay in Yahoo, and then I will take it from there.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Been doing this for sometime now so knew what I was getting into.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Only three months old and I will keep it going as long as it is useful to someone.
