Seriously in 2004 to enable better sales.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

We sell Transmanche Ferries and LD Lines crossings to Dieppe and Le Havre and sell accommodation all over France too.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Online booking - now completed!

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

erm...can't think of one just now.

What was your biggest mistake?

Too many to mention

Who maintains your website and why?

I do - because it's cheap.

Vastly increased sales

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

It's important and I think XML is the future (today).

Very important - not sure if I'm that good at it yet

To promote independent holiday cottages. Offering people to chance to review and vote for cottages they have stayed in and to help others decide where to book

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Searchable directory of hundreds of UK and Irish Holiday cottages. Cottages have photographs, descriptions, reviews and votes. Owners can submit their holiday cottage free or pay up to £14.99 for an upgrade

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Adding the data to make it useful for visitors

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Hosting

Me so that I have control over what happens and can make sure the quality is good

Money is generated through upgraded listings. Increased traffic to our other sites

Its has got to be the way to go. It will become the dominant method of buying many products and services

A must - we spend a lot of time making sure our sites are search engine friendly. It also helps people with diabilities use the sites

Helped. Necessary part of daily life

Less spam and the ability to get rid of the criminals that spoil the benefits of the internet for others
